Votre partenaire privilégié durant votre séjour au Japon
Dear Japan Wireless Team,
I recently used your pocket WiFi service for our trip to Japan with my family of five (June 9, 2026 to June 17, 2026), and I wanted to share my positive feedback.
The pickup and drop-off process at the airport was incredibly efficient, and the connection speed was excellent throughout Osaka and Kyoto. As a family of five, we were constantly connecting multiple phones at once, and the device handled the load perfectly without any slowdowns.
It made navigating with Google Maps and staying connected so much easier than worrying about roaming charges, and the battery life was more than enough for our long days of sightseeing. Having the included power bank also provided great peace of mind. This really allowed us to enjoy our family trip stress-free.
I’ll definitely use your service again for our next trip and will be recommending you to other families traveling to Japan.
Dear Customer,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a lovely and comprehensive review with our team!
We are absolutely delighted to hear that your family of five had a wonderful and stress-free trip to Osaka and Kyoto this past June. Managing connectivity for multiple devices on a family vacation can be challenging, so knowing that our pocket Wi-Fi handled the load smoothly with fast speeds, long battery life, and extra peace of mind from the power bank truly means a lot to us.
We are also thrilled that the airport pickup and drop-off processes were quick and convenient for you, making navigation and staying connected effortless without the worry of roaming fees.
Thank you for your kind support and high recommendation to other traveling families. It was an honor to be a part of your family’s Japan adventure, and we look forward to serving you all again on your next trip!
Warmest regards,
The Japan Wireless Team
The SIM worked perfectly for by 2 kids and we got it delivered to our host without issues. The only wish for better would be to improve the documentation related to when the delivery was going to happen (I had to select pickup time but the SIMs arrived in the mailbox on the day before, confusing) and to understand when the SIM activated for use, and thus also when would it inactivate exactly. Maybe pickup time meant to be the activation time?

The WiFi worked great, and I appreciated that it was my own personal hotspot. The only concerns I had were related to keeping it charged and using the back-up battery. Both the unit and the extra battery got very hot at times and it was cumbersome to have to wranglethe unit, the extra battery, the cord, my phone, and the portable charger for my phone all was hold trying to sightsee, read signs, and take photos. Delivery at my hotel and mailing it back worked seamlessly.
Thank you for sharing your detailed feedback with us. We are very glad to hear that the Wi-Fi performance was great, that you enjoyed having your own personal hotspot, and that our hotel delivery and return process worked seamlessly for you.
However, we sincerely apologize for the discomfort caused by the devices getting hot, as well as the hassle of managing so many items while trying to sightsee. Juggling a Wi-Fi unit, backup batteries, phones, and cables can definitely take away from the joy of exploring, and we fully understand how cumbersome that must have been. We take device safety very seriously and will look into the heating issue with our technical team to ensure our equipment remains reliable and comfortable to use.
For your next trip, if you prefer to travel lighter without any extra devices or cords, we highly recommend trying our eSIM service, which installs directly onto your phone and eliminates the need for extra gear. Thank you again for your valuable insights, and we hope to provide you with a much more comfortable experience on your next visit to Japan!
Visted Japan twice in the past year and both visits I rented a pocket wifi from Japan Wireless. I also had an international data plan from my cellular provider (Verizon), but it had it's limitations. The pocket wifi from Japan Wireless was extremely helpful, since we constantly required a network connection for Google Maps, Google Translate, theme park apps, taxi apps, booking and checking reservations, as well as an internet connection for kid's iPads (non-cellular). Of course there was wifi in various places like train stations, but public wifi access was much slower since there are more devices/people connected to them.

Very efficient and polite staff. I had to have the wifi redirected from the airport to a post office near to where I was staying. This they did without any issues. No problem at all with the wifi while I was out visiting places. It was very easy to use and lasted all day. I didn't need to use the power bank once. I would highly recommend this business and would not think twice about using them again.
