Great solution. No traffic limits like other competitors. Sometimes a bit slow, but ever a good travelling companion. With 5g, smaller and lighter would be perfect.

Overall, good customer care service, delivery and clear instructions. The item is a bit hot when use it for a whole day. Would rent from Japan Wireless again in the future

Reasonable price, easy to retrieve/return from airport, easy to use

I've been using Japan Wireless three times and I've had great success using their wireless network service. The wireless network device comes in a bag with a battry bank, charger, charge cable and a quick user guide. I never had to use the battery bank, the device worked great all day withour running out of battery. The network SSID and password are written on the device itself, so you will not loose this information. I had great coverage, even on the Shinkansen. When my rental period was over, all I had to was to put the device into a prepaid and marked envelope which I dropped into a Japan Mail Box at Haneda airport. I will use Japan Wireless on my next visit.

Not only the pocket wifi works as expected, but the customer service is also top notch.
Our initial plane has been cancelled so we landed at Narita instead of Haneda and I was able to change the pickup location with a couple of emails.
It was also very fast and simple for us to extend the contract.
