Downloaded this in the US, activated it as soon as we landed in Japan. Used it for directions via Google maps, for finding restaurants, places to see. Worked great.

I highly recommend this product.

Our older smartphones didn't do e-sim or international calling so portable Wi-Fi seemed the best option. It worked great! Ordered the 1st day in Osaka and received it the next day. Came fully charged and the optional power bank was fully charged as well. Dependable Wi-Fi through our entire trip and drop-off at the airport postal box was convenient too.
