I have used Japan Wireless’ pocket WiFi for many of my trips to Japan. There are several options to pick it up and very easy to return. For this trip, I picked it up at Haneda Airport on arrival and was able to use it right away. It worked well during my stay in Japan. To return, all I had to do was to put it in the envelope provided and drop it in the mailbox at the airport. Very convenient. Thank you.

Process to pickup and dropoff the hotspot of well instructed and easy to do. The unit worked well and the charge lasted most of the day. An external battery was provided just in case. Coverage was spotty in some areas. I think its due to with wifi signal not getting through some of the stone walls. Overall very happy

Easy to book and pick-up. The connection is reliable and fast, returning is also no hassle.

My wife and I spent 2 weeks in Japan in March of 2025. During that time we kept our phones in airplane mode and relied on Japan Wireless's device to get us by.
Honestly, we rarely even thought of the device, which is a good review. We never dropped connection, we charged it nightly. It was easy to pick up at the airport and we dropped it off on the way to check in for our flight.
