Picking it up and dropping it off with the hotel registration is a big factor. We picked up in our hotel in Osaka and dropped it off in our hotel in Kyoto. It saved us a lot of time and stress.

I have rented a portable wifi device from Japan Wireless on my last two trips to Japan. When I originally shopped around, I found that Japan Wireless was not only the most affordable, but seemed to be the most reliable. It is at my destination when I arrive and works well everywhere that I have taken it. It is small and the battery lasts for hours. They include an extra battery just in case you need it. I had no problem just charging it each night. On my most recent trip, I had to extend it for an additional 5 days. I just went online and extended it with no difficulty. I go to Japan often and will always rent from Japan Wireless.

i using this japanwireless rental for my 2 weeks in Japan and the wifi is great everywhere i went , even those they come with the battery bank but i never have to used it since the mobile wifi unit battery last really long . You may find some other company offer cheaper price but japanwireless is great choice with unlimited wifi plan .
