Japan Wireless was definitely worth it. We needed the mobile hotspot because my daughter’s school iPad couldn’t connect to several hotel Wi‑Fi networks, and even Starbucks Wi‑Fi wouldn’t work reliably. It was very affordable, incredibly easy to order, and it arrived the next morning. Returning it was just as simple with the prepaid envelope, we dropped it off at Japan Post. Highly recommend it for reliable internet while traveling in Japan.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review! We are delighted to hear that our mobile hotspot solved your daughter's iPad connectivity issues and provided your family with reliable internet throughout your trip.

We have been renting the pocket wifi from Japan Wireless for the past 4 years. It works quite well, especially for 3 of us. One downside was battery life only for 8 hours, so needed to charge a couple of times a day. Overall good experience. Will likely rent again for the next Japan trip.

Very easy to pick up and return.
Consistent wifi.
To improve: battery dies before the day is over (for 10 hr day) and the battery pack doesn’t charge it to full.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review! We are glad to hear that you found the pickup and return process convenient and enjoyed a consistent WiFi connection throughout your trip.
We appreciate your honest feedback regarding the battery life during long 10-hour days out. Heavy data usage and connecting multiple devices can cause the router's battery to drain faster than expected. We are also sorry to hear that the included battery pack fell short and didn't fully recharge your unit—we will inspect our power bank performance to ensure they provide adequate backup power.
Thank you again for your constructive feedback and support. We look forward to providing you with an improved experience on your next visit to Japan!
