I decided to try the pocket wifi since I got a new phone and was very happy with it! It was super easy to use and had stable wifi almost everywhere, even on the train to Kyoto! The charge held consistent throughout the day. I think if you are worried about getting international roaming charges, pocket wifi is the way to go! Would rent again.

I will continue to use pocket wifi when I visit Japan!

I decided to use this service after a few Instagram influencers recommended it. I am extremely glad I did, as having Wi-Fi was extremely helpful in getting around Japan as well as having a means to communicate. I opted for the Wi-Fi hotspot with unlimited data plan and it worked basically everywhere we went in mainland Japan and in Okinawa. The only place it didn't work for a few minutes was in an isolated area outside of Mount Fuji, but practically everyone else lost service in the same area as well. Their customer service is amazing as well. I did have an issue where The hotspot device was draining power faster than it could charge. I messaged the company and they got back to me really quickly with a resolution and it worked perfectly. Definitely happy with the pricing, coverage, service, and customer service. I would highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Japan!

We were in Japan for two weeks. The wireless service was excellent. Japan wireless had the pocket wi-fi delivered to our hotel on our arrival. Returning the pocket wi-fi was super easy. They provided a self paid envelope and dropped off inside our hotel mailbox on the day of departure. Japan Wireless made everything easy. Thank you.

We rented the portable wifi and it really came in handy. Japan wireless made it easy, make a reservation, pick up at the airport and put it in the mailbox on the outside of departures when you leave. I recommend it
