It arrived at the hotel we were staying on Day 1. No setup required and the battery lasts the whole day on full charge. It was extremely convenient and easy to carry around in the backpack. Internet speed was great with no lag experienced and reception was perfect. Would not think twice about getting it again if I'm travelling to Japan.

If you’re travelling on your own, this is an absolute must if you’re wanting to stay connected. By far the best investment I made for my trip and super easy to arrange! Picked up from Kansai airport and no issues with it whatsoever. Could not recommend more!

Great option for mobile wireless while travelling in Japan, and excellent communication.
Only note is that one option is to mail to a local post office. However, I found that the person at the post office did not like the fact that the post office itself was noted as the addressee. But they ended up giving me the package anyway.

For two separate trips, I have used Japan Wireless for my internet needs each time and I have found that the 187mbps portable wifi has been reliable both times, throughout my three and two week visits respectively throughout Japan. The internet speed was fantastic and I had no problems.

I went from Tokyo to Kyoto/Osaka and I NEVER had a problem with the connection. Easy to connect and I was kinda preoccupied about the battery hours but I didn't used the battery that they provided in case the wifi pocket ran out of juice, so yeah, I will definitely order this again in my next visit to Japan. Also I arrived to my hotel and the pocket wifi was already there waiting for me! So I'm super happy with japan wireless. Thank you guys!
