Tip: For people from the U.S., turn off your Cellular data when you are in Japan. It will drain your battery searching for a network and you don’t need it while you’re on wifi.

Purchasing the e-sim and installing it upon landing in Japan was an easy and smooth experience. We purchased the 10gb plan and it was more than enough coverage for the 10 days that we were there. There were no “dead zones” and the internet speed was great!
