It just works. No problem, no high costs. I use Japan Wireless every time I go to Japan.

Worked well all throughout Tokyo, Osaksa, and Kyoto.

Battery lasts for a whole day even though they provided a small power bank with it.

Great esim worked well always. Clear instructions. I bought the 20 Gb pack for my Insta addicted son which was probably overkill.

Hassel free and very good internet connection

I've never used a pocket WiFi before. I must admit, it was very useful. As advertised, the signal was excellent. I went from Osaka to Kyoto to Nara to Wakayama and always had connection. There were a few times where the gadget has overheated and shutdown. But other than that, I had constant signal no matter where I was. A few times it decided to let my hotel WiFi to take priority. In other words, except for overheating and shutting down, the battery last a good few hours of constant browsing, the signal is perfect all the time, speed is decent. I'd say, it's a solid 4.8/5 stars. Minus 0.1 for randomly letting other WiFi connections to take priority and minus 0.1 for overheating.
