Why won't my eSIM work?

To start off, it's important to understand that eSIM QR codes can only be activated once. Any subsequent scans will not be successful. Make sure your data roaming is turned on. If you have it turned off, your eSIM will not work. To check the activation status of your eSIM, please go to the "My eSIM" section and look under the "Purchased" category. Will my internet speed by reduced for unlimited plan?

5G Unlimited (KDDI): Full 5G speed for normal-to-heavy travel under FUP — not a daily 3GB cap. 4G Unlimited (NTT DOCOMO): Up to 3GB/day at high speed; after 3GB, speed drops to 256 kbps until midnight JST reset.

Can I cancel my order?

KDDI 5G plans: Insurance is not offered — our Plan B Guarantee covers connectivity issues in Japan (guided support, then free Pocket WiFi if needed). 4G plans: If you purchased optional insurance at checkout, you can request a refund for any reason within 30 days and before activation (all charges refunded except the insurance fee).

Can I get a refund if my eSIM connection is slow?

KDDI 5G plans: Contact our Japan-based support for guided troubleshooting. If your compatible device still cannot connect after arrival, Plan B applies — free Pocket WiFi shipped to your accommodation. 4G plans: Refund for connection issues only if optional insurance was purchased at checkout.
