Japan Wireless’s pocket wi-if service was reliable and very useful to us as we travelled in Japan. The device was waiting for us at our hotel when we arrived in Tokyo.
The device is slow to start up but that’s a minor point compared to its greater benefit of proving easy to access wi-fi.
I would recommend this service to anyone who is travelling and wants the flexibility of using maps, checking schedules, and planning routes without having to rely on finding public wi-if or worry about limited data usage on a sim. This service is great.

Absolutely loved using Japan wireless. Unbelievably easy to order, my WiFi was delivered to my hotel and ready to use with easy to follow instructions. At the end of my trip I wanted to utilize it all the way until I boarded, when it came time to return my device I mistakenly did not realize that I needed to drop it off before passing TSA Because there is no mail drop thereafter. After realizing I had made a mistake I quickly called Japan wireless and notified them of the situation, their customer service representative was AMAZING! Let me know it was ok and that I could easily drop in the mail when I arrived back in my country. I was so impressed and thankful. I will definitely use Japan wireless for every trip. Everything was perfect! I've found the device at the hotel in Tokyo. I've used the device all over my vacations in Japan without any problem. Simply perfect.

The device worked without problems, the battery held up to 8 hours. Highly recommend to anyone traveling around Japan. Convenient way to receive and return.

The wifi worked great.... definitely having the extra battery is a plus; I had to recharge each day in the late afternoon.

Great service, fast speed internet and a very easy way to collect and return the broadband,

The broadband comes in Japanese language and its not easy to find the language settings to change + i tryed to contact the company to solve a problem i had but it wasn’t easy to contact them.

Any way its a very great service these are the only two issues i had and others are great so for sure i will rent it again when i come to japan.

The portable wi- fi was small and wi-fi reception was outstanding. Only issue was you could not start first rental day use on another date after pick-up.
