Second time I used it , when travelling to Japan. This time it came with a spare battery pack, which was great improvement as the previous time, battery could have been on the low. Looks like the company have taken user experiences to heart and consequently made some improvements. Straight forward and very easy to use. Would use again on my next visit.

Para todos aquellos que estéis dudando en hacerlo o no, nosotros contratamos 2 tarjetas SIM para 15 días (ya que uno de nuestros terminales no aceptaba e-Sim), con recogida en el aeropuerto de NARITA.

Una vez llegamos al aeropuerto, seguimos las instrucciones del email que nos enviaron para recoger las tarjetas y posteriormente instalarlas. El proceso es muy fácil y en apenas unos minutos tuvimos Internet durante toda nuestra estancia en Japón (desde el 15 al 29 de agosto).

No tuvimos ningún problema con la cobertura ni el consumo, estuvimos utilizando Google Maps para orientarnos, redes sociales y demás y en ningún momento perdimos conexión ni datos.

Nuestra experiencia fue totalmente satisfactoria y recomendamos esta compañía.

I used pocket wifi for my trip in japan. It's excellent. I took it really fast and the return was simple at the airport

Was very easy to setup. We only had dropout on one day and that was in Disney SEA, but I noticed a few people having issues at the same time. Overall was a great experience and we will use in the future.

Navigating Japan can be daunting and you definitely need mobile data to help with directions, language and communication but roaming charges are insane unless you get an esim from these guys.
For less than my UK company charged me for one day, Japan Wireless provided me unlimited data for 11 days.
When I struggled to get it working they were really quick to respond and helped me sort it out.
Excellent support (in English when needed) and great follow up to ensure I was getting the service I paid for. Full recommendation from me.
