We returned from our most recent trip from Japan about a month ago. We also rented from Japan Wireless and were satisfied with everything, from pick up at Haneda Airport (also at Sapporo on previous trip), usage, and ease of return drop off (at Haneda and Narita). Coverage was great. We've used our units in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Sapporo, Hakone, and Hakodate) with no signal drops. We will definitely use Japan Wireless again for our next trip.

I've used Japan Wireless on my trip to Osaka & Tokyo & had no issues with connection or service. Staff responds very quickly if you have any questions via email. I rated it 4 stars for my trip to Tokyo because I was not able to use the airport drop box to return it and had to pay (a small fee) to have it shipped by another postal service. I had ordered two devices and, unfortunately, when TWO are stacked it will not fit through the slot. You would have to carefully package everything flat for it to fit. I informed them of the issue & they took note. I will definitely use them again but just be aware when ordering two and packaging carefully for return through the post box.

I used it for work, including video streaming, and for finding my way around. I had no issues. The service was immaculate. Power bank was a real bonus.

Reliable and reasonably priced! Highly recommended!
