In general it worked very well, we had no communications in some rural areas

Fast WiFi . Easy pick up from Haneda Airport . I’d recommend it !

We had to charge it every day and sometimes by the end of the day the integral battery had run out. Also in one area around mount Aso it didn't work very well but on the whole we were very pleased with it. It was worth having.

It was delivered on time to the hotel I was staying at and the customer service staff that attended to me was helpful and prompt. The coverage was great as I had joined a tour and travelled to smaller cities. It was very easy to use too.

Used this pocket wifi 24/7 for a week in Tokyo and had excellent coverage wherever I went and in the hotel. It's a little more expensive than some of the other pocket wifis but you get what you pay for and I needed it to work to get anywhere so well worth it. Was at my first hotel when I checked in and left it with the front desk to drop in the mail when I left for the airport. Super easy! Will use Japan Wireless again on my next trip!

But this WiFi module was invaluable during my business trip and subsequent vacation in Japan. It was easy to set up. The battery lasted a very long time. If I was going to be gone for the entire day, the backup battery was more than enough to provide coverage. And returning it couldn't be easier...just drop it in one of many mail boxes in the airport.

Easy to connect and set up and the battery lasted all day easily without a need to plug into external power bank (provided).
I’ve always had a connection - in the Metro in Tokyo as well as high up the mountain in Nikko which is exactly what you need!
Return was nice and easy - post in the provided envelope!
Price was better than roaming and we’ve used A LOT of data so it was a lot cheaper too.
No issues, would recommend and would use again when I’m in Japan next!

It works perfectly! Absolutely necessary il you travel around Japan...
