Our family of 4 complete a 3-week trip covering Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, Himeji and numerous other locations. During our time, we never once had an issue with wireless access. The battery for the portable device typically lasted 8-10 hours but would quickly charge up with a portable battery pack. We had 4 cell phones, between my wife, kids and myself and all utilized the internet without any slowdowns. We each had a Verizon device and setup was very simply (less that 1 minute). We will definitely use Japan Wireless on our next Japanese vacation.

The portable wifi arrived at my hotel before I checked in and I dropped it off at the airport on my way home. Couldn't have been any easier. The connection was speedy and reliable as well. No complaints at all. Would be happy to use again.

This product is awesome. We picked it up from the airport and was very quick and easy to setup. There were 3 of us connected to the device and we travelled from Tokyo to Hiroshima without any problems. The great part is that it also comes with a power bank - so you don't have to worry about losing battery. I would highly recommend this when travelling in Japan.

We recently took a spring break vacation to Japan. We wanted to avoid large charges for data use from our phone providers. The Pocket WiFi from Japan-Wireless worked fantastic. They delivered right to our hotel. The device worked perfectly for our three phones for navigation, internet and email. Return was very simple and allowed us to drop off at the airport on the way home. This is a great solution.
