Great device to have while visiting Japan, the device is small enough to fit in a pocket, the battery won't last all day, but they'll provide and backup battery bank so you won't be left out without WIFI

Easy to get and Always available and fast

We've used the Pocket Wi-Fi for 43 days and were entirely satisfied. It worked flawlessly in all areas of Japan. Speed was impressive considering that it's coming from a phone signal. We recommend it for all travellers in Japan.

This is a great solution to ensure your entire group has connectivity during any trip to Japan. While I have free international days my 2 other traveling companions did not and this ensured we were all able to have access to Google maps, texting, etc when we were separated. Works as easy as any other wifi and connection was pretty good all over Japan as we traveled from Akita, Sendai, and Tokyo all the way to Kyoto, Kobe, and Nara. Even returning via the provided addressed envelope was a breeze. Would 100% use again in my next trip to Japan.
