The customer service is just fantastic.
I travel to Japan 4 to 5 times a year, and I rent the WIFI router every time. Often my flight changes at the last minutes but the customer service always try the maximum to meet my needs. I am very happy to use their rental service.

Performed well, rarely let me down. Only downside was the battery power and the state of the hardware upon delivery which was not clean.

I used a Japan Wireless pocket wifi router for the 3 weeks i was in Japan . Part of this time in mountainous areas in the Kii Peninsular and in the Kiso Valley region. I received a good connection for everywhere I went except one smalll area on the Nakasendo Way hike - however there is no reception in this area. The battery lasted ok each day but would run down in late afternoon so needed to carry the spare battery.
I had to do the restart thing about four times including when I first used it which was annoying but it worked fine once this was done. Received good assistance when had to call the office when router lost internet connection, and solved the problem (I didn’t do the restart correctly which once done solved the problem - this is easy process to do though). The rental rate was much cheaper than some other suppliers I looked at - i feel it was very good value especially as you can book it for a specific period. I would recommend Japan Wireless.

We have rented a WIFI device at Japan Wireless. We picked it up at Tokyo Narita ariport and used for 3 weeks. It was very convenient and did meet all our requirements. We have connected 2 phones and a laptop and it never failed or had a slow internet connection. The information provided by Japan wireless was very good and complete. We were very happy and found it good value for money.

Worked out nicely, no problems experienced

After extensive research online who was the best carrier, best service, customer service, intuitive devices; we chose JAPAN WIRELESS as our navigational savior, ha! All you need to know is no data caps, ships to hotel or airport, comes with a portable charger/electric charger (bring your own universal adapter) and is easy to retrieve at your nearest Post Office at the airport. When you are done they give you a pre-paid postage to mail back. EASY! We will use JAPAN WIRELESS when we are back
in the fall.

Excellent customer service! I appreciated arriving at my hotel and having your Mobile Wi-Fi waiting for me. I had absolutely no problem with it.
