This worked well, while more expensive than a typical single data-plan SIM card it's nice if you want to have multiple devices connect to it (or just avoid dealing with SIM cards in general).

This was a great option for us! This worked great!

We enjoyed and would recommend taking the WiFi unit around the country. We always had coverage and could get on the internet. Our only concern was that the battery would go down quickly and many days we had to use the extra battery pack.

Very useful and a very good Connection.

However, I would recommend (if you’re traveling in a group or just with your S/O) for one of you guys to also purchase an e-sim. Because once there is more than one person on the pocket wifi, the speed of the internet slows down. But this is definitely a must have 👍

Perfect Wi-Fi works everywhere

Second time using Japan Wireless when visiting Tokyo. Excellent as always.

This pocket wifi can be used anywhere because it is easy to transport. Small and light, it can be easily carried in a handbag. I recommend it!

Every time we go to Japan we rent this WiFi. It’s reliable and you’ll have access all day if you hook up the extra battery to the unit after both are fully charged. Would not go to Japan without it. We’ve recommended it to several other people that agree it’s invaluable.

Perfect for my 12 day trip throughout Japan. It struggled a bit in the Shinkansen but was perfect otherwise.
