Having the pocket wifi was extremely convenient and reliable. We had the wifi mailed to the hotel we were staying at and were able to return it at the airport with ease.

We picked up the package in the airport. We had it with us for the hole duration of the trip, the speed and connection was fast and reliable. Power was never a problem, we used the included power bank. Often it wasn’t even necessary.

When we where traveling home, we dropped it off before security in the airport.

So easy to use and great!

Provided excellent service

From the easy setup with clear instructions to convenience of return by mail, I was very happy to have the pocket wi-fi with me for the three weeks that I was in Japan. Although it was imperative that the device be charged on a daily basis, the provided backup battery came to the rescue on a couple of occasions. The device only let me down once - while climbing around the peaks of Ogijima. Perhaps the device spent a lot of effort maintaining 4G connection on the island but it overheated and did not provide data. (Switching it off for a while to cool solved the problem)
For me, the outlay was a tad high but support of multiple connected devices made it reasonably good value.
That's the only negative (if you can call it that) comment that I can make.
I'll definitely do this again when I next go to Japan
