I knew that traveling with teenagers meant we’d need to do something about making sure we had access to decent WiFi. I came across Japan Wireless during my research, and reviewers rated it highly.

It was easy to order. Everything is explained clearly on the website so we knew what to expect. I had the device delivered to our hotel, and it was waiting there for us at checkin.

The instructions for use were straightforward and we had no problems with anything at all. The device held its charge well; we only needed to use the backup battery once.

I’m glad I made the decision to book the unit for our whole stay as the wifi at the ski resort was appalling so we just kept using our portable wifi.

Definitely money well spent!

As usual, the service is excellent. I emailed a question regarding a missing portable battery pack and got a response right away. And I did find out that when receiving the pocket wifi on another island, the battery is not included since it cannot be shipped by air.
