We had this for 3 weeks and it worked well even in the mountain side (remote area). I liked that they provided a backup battery as we were out all day and the we used it multiple times. There was one or two times that the phone couldn't find the wifi but I took it out of my bag and it found it right away. But this was very infrequent.

The Japanese love their baths, but as a tourist, you will need wifi more than anything - you need Google maps, Google translate and hyperdia (train schedule app) all the time. The Japan wireless router was flawless during my 3 weeks in Japan - easy pickup, dropoff, high speed unlimited wireless. Battery life was good, and they provide a backup charger just in case. Highly recommended for your trip to Japan!

As foreign tourists we needed to have easy, reliable and fast internet access. This allowed us to use eMail, WhatsApp, Maps, Translate and research To-Do's and restaurants etc

We collected the Wi-Fi modem at the airport and the ease of setup and use meant that we were online straight-away. It was easier to use than our International phone-sim and cheaper.

Coverage was brilliant, even on all types of public transport and in undergound stations/malls.

We won't travel without this facility.

This product was very helpful. This was my first trip to Tokyo and I never got lost or turned around thanks to the GPS on my phone always being active with this product. Worth the cost.

Used this whilst on hols. It was excellent.

I ordered prepaid SIM card (500 MB/daily). It was delivered in time to my hotel in Tokyo. The instructions were clear. No issues with installing and setting up 4G connection. 500 MB/daily were more than enough during my 2 weeks journey in Japan. My mobile Internet was ON all the time - maps, social networks, Internet browsing. The signal was strong all the way. Thank you for the great product and service!
