Our pocket WiFi was waiting for us at the hotel and it was easy to turn it on and connect to our phones. I don't remember ever losing coverage.
I did email the customer support with a technical question on the first day (of 12), that they never replied to, but we managed to figure it out on our own, so all was good in the end.

I rented wifi from Japan wireless for 14 days from 21 march 2023 to 3 april 2023. I opted a plan where 5 devices could be connected. Everything was amazing. The packet was delivered to my hotel 1 day in advance. So when i landed in japan and reached hotel, the packet was awaiting me. Installation was seamless. Just needed 2 steps and wifi was active in 1 minute. Whenever we went we got very fast data network. Other travellers with me were also able to connect to it seamlessly. Before flying out, I just put everything in an envelope which was already provided and dropped the packet in postbox in Tokyo. Thanks to Japan Wireless for amazing servive.

Could not ask for more. Travelled with family to Japan. The hotspot was waiting for us at the hotel when we arrived. So simple to use. And postage paid envelope made return easy. It was so simple, inexpensive and convenient. I cannot recommend highly enough.

So glad I got this hotspot! No problems with it. Coverage was great. Battery life was great. I didn’t even have to use the back up battery that was included. Will definitely get again when I’m in Japan.

There's a lot to love about the mobile wifi, namely the price point and the generous amount of data per day. Speeds were also very fast, if not faster than back at home. There were a few instances of throttling but that was mainly due to interference. Portability was also good but the device did warm up a fair bit. The battery life was also more than generous given we were out on the street for hours at a time; it's why I kept a power bank on me while out and about. Overall, I was happy with this mobile wifi and I'll definitely choose Japan Wireless the next time I visit Japan

From order to pick up, transaction was seamless. Instructions were clear and with pictures so you will not waste time looking for the pick up booths and mailbox for returning the parcel. Connecting was easy and signal and speed was reliable. We were travelling from Tokyo to Kyoto to Osaka and Kobe, no problem with signal and coverage. Will definitely use this service again on my next trip to Japan.

So easy to pick up, use and return! Even comes with a battery pack so multiple users can connect to the wifi the whole day! Works even in subways. Thanks, Japan Wireless!
