I'm not great with technology, but using the pocket wifi made life easy in Japan. Set up took only a few minutes, and it reliably provided internet during my month long stay, allowing me to use map apps and translation from my phone.

I used it for my trip and it was hepful as it kept me connected when I was travelling. Just wished that there were plans with more data

Highly recommend for anyone travelling to Japan. Could not have done without it.

Very convenient, between hotel delivery and prepaid post box dropoff. We traveled through several different cities and had fast internet everywhere except above 8th station at Fuji.
