Avis

No connection issues the whole time we were travelling through Japan.

Easy to organise and delivered to your hotel.

I had the unit mailed to the hotel and picking it up was without issues.
Never had any problems with connectivity or battery life.
Dropped it off in a mailbox at the airport when we left Japan.
Definitely rent a unit if you intend to travel in Japan. The ease of use and the low rental fee makes this a no-brainer.

I used this for 2 weeks and shared it with my SO during our trip to Japan. I didn’t have any hiccups nor any throttling of the data amongst our 2 iPhones.

It does come with its own power bank including the charging cord and wall charging block. It’s better to use your own wall charger as the amp from the included block must be low since I noticed the pocket WiFi didn’t charge fully for the first night of having it.

There were a few days when the power bank did die from keeping the pocket WiFi charged so ensure you fully charge the power back each night as it does a great job of keeping your pocket WiFi charged.

I suggest to use this pocket WiFi as using one does prolong your phones overall battery life throughout the day since you’ll be on airplane mode with WiFi on compared to an eSIM.

Based on my experience and research, Japan wireless is cheaper than the other options out there.

Other friends used different brands and they told me the battery wouldn’t last very long at all and they always had to carry a power bank. With this Pocket Wifi we had 2 phones connected non-stop for 12hours per day and we never needed to charge it again! Only overnight. Extremely satisfied!!!

Best thing we did , when travelling Japan !

Wifi was waiting for us at the hotel and was easy to setup, use and return.

Thank you so much , the package was waiting for us at Kansai Airport. We had no trouble turning on and connecting to the devices. It was so handy to use for many applications on my devices, made our visit to Japan that much more enjoyable.

Quick and easy start up convinient to not have to carry a pocket WiFi that gets hot in your pocket

This absolutely saved my trip. I thought the international cell phone plan would be enough, and it wasn't, my data ran out within a few days, and my minutes dried up and I couldn't talk to my gf. I got this, had wifi, and didn't run into a single problem for the rest of my trip. I originally only got it for tokyo, then extended it for my stay in Kyoto. Ordering it, picking it up, extending it, and dropping it off all went extremely smooth.

It comes with a portable battery pack, charger, wall adapter, and a case and postage envelope. All you need to do is pack it up and mail it back once you get ti the airport. I will never go without it again

had ZERO issues with using tokyo-wireless. easy intsructions for pick up and drop off. value for money was good. no reception dead/weak spots during my trip. ill be ordering it again when i visit!
