The pocket wifi sometimes stopped but it was kind of like a short disconnection so it wasn't that bad. The battery life was long enough to last through the day, and the return method was easy!

I did not have my pone unlocked for an Esim, so I ordered a pocket wifi for my 3 1/2 weeks long Japan trip. I picked up the device with no issues at the airport and the device worked wonderfully. The wifi came with a travel pouch, return envelope, charger (cord & box), and a portable battery! We had two cellphones on it and the wifi was very consistent. It even got service in most subways and the shinkansen, I was happily surprised! I would highly recommend this to travelers headed to japan. The return is also super easy, they give you a return envelope and you just put it in a Japanese post box!

The main advantage of using Japan-wireless for eSIM service is that they have English tech support in the same time zone that can respond quickly. I found their support very helpful. I will definitely use them again for future visits.
