Needed an esim for myself and my son for our two weeks in Japan. Based on other reviews i choose japan-wireless and its really good. Unlimited data and most of the time 5G, 4G only in the rural area’s. Setup was very easy with the provided QR code. Highly recommended and will definitely use it again on our next trip to Japan.

As we have locked phones, Japan Wireless was a perfect way for us to keep connected so we could search out routes to travel and find good places for meals. The unit was easy to carry and had a battery backup that kept the unit charged for the full day. Connectivity was key for us to enjoy our vacation and Japan Wireless was able to provide it.

This is the second time I’ve rented a pocket WiFi and I am very pleased with the service. This time, I compared the service with a eSIM and pocket WiFi is better overall. Japan wireless makes it so easy to rent online, pick up and return. We used the unlimited plan. Made our trip much more productive and stress free.
