The pocket wifi experience was excellent! The pick up location was a tad harder to find than originally thought because it is distributed by another provider but the information desk at the airport was helpful and most can speak English. All the equipment comes in a convenient carrying case with back up battery and charging cord. Setup only took a few minutes and was pretty self explanatory - as simple as connecting to the right SSID and entering the password which is clearly labeled on the device. We used the WiFi most everywhere including the trains and subways and had good signal and speed. There was only one time the signal dropped and that was due to another pocket wifi in the area. But after switching channels the problem was resolved. Although ESIM was an option at a similar price pocket wifi allowed our kids to connect to wifi with their tablets to watch movies or play games while we were on prolonged train rides. The battery life was excellent and we never needed the back up battery as it pretty much lasted the whole day. The return was very easy. You just place all the equipment in the carry bag and slip into the pre addressed return envelope and drop it off at any of the red mail boxes at the airport (before security!) An email was sent the day prior clearly showing the drop off spots. The pricing was very affordable. I would use Japan Wireless without hesitation again if I were to return to Japan.

This is the second time I used Japan Wireless during my one month trip. It was very easy to use and always effective. I didn’t have any problem. The ordering, pickup and drop off was very simple. I will use their service again. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICE!

E-SIM set up was straightforward and using data was no problem in Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Kanazawa, and Shirakawa. Will definitely use Japan wireless again!

I had always rented the pocket wifi from my own country but it’s expensive, so this year I tried Japan Wireless and it’s the right choice.

I chose to send the pocket wifi to my hotel ,before the rental date, they sent a email to remind me and also gave me the tracking number, the package arrived on time. For the returning ,I dropped the package at the airport postbox, no need for extra cost, very convenient. The price was good, the signal was OK, not the best speed ,but not bad.

I will use their service again next time I visit japan.
