I’d say the pocket WiFi worked well at least 95% of the time while I was in Japan.

Process of renting, picking up, and dropping off the pocket wifi was extremely easy. This is the second third time I have used Japan Wireless and each time has been great. The pocket wireless unit's charge lasted the full day for the majority of my stay. The back up battery wasn't very good and couldn't charge the unit past 50%. However, I had my own battery which easily charged the unit when needed.

Painless order process, easy and smooth collection upon arrival. Extremely happy with service and a really practical and simple way to return equipment once our plan was finished. That is why we choose Japan Wireless for every trip to Japan. ありがとうございます！

It’s very easy to access the service. The staff are very kind and attentive to the problem I faced. They also take responsibility quickly.

I never have any problems at all with this service. Easy to pick up from the airport, easy to set up, and easy to drop off. Always recommended!!

Everything works great as expected.

Reliable WiFi service throughout or Japan trip. Didn’t encounter yet any loss of network. Easy pick ups and return at haneda airport. Would definitely use again.

The support is the best, speeds were no where near advertised with the premium which I was getting around 20-30 mbps down and around 2-5mbps up but it worked and was typically always a signal of some sort in most places within city.

Used 18 days throughout Japan.

Support is what made this worth it.

Had issues where I no longer could connect to device for a IP and got a replacement fast, it may be related to my phone though although It was a brand new phone the Pixel 9 I got days before leaving so was odd...
Wifi worked for any other connection which was weird as it's a wifi device essentially... couldn't understand the issues I was getting but still in a pinch I used other means.

Regardless, great device when worked.
The included battery charger made the wifi device at full charge and battery last easily 9-12 hrs of constant use with google maps etc. and still be 70-100% full on the pocket wifi returning for the day if plugged into the charger the whole time.

The whole process from claiming to return was very easy. It was all indicated in the email you’ll just have to follow the instructions.

Wireless worked almost everywhere. Only issue was deep in subways which I expected. Long battery life. So easy to get picked up and returned.
