During my stay I used Japan Wireless and was very pleased. This was my second time I used this company during my trips to Japan. My experience was very favorable. The coverage and ease of use was outstanding. However on my last trip the return envelope was missing when I picked up my rental at Narita. When it was time to return the device it was next to impossible to get any help trying to return the wireless device without the return envelope. If you are going to use Japan Wireless make sure you have a return envelope included in the package when you pick up your device. In comparison to other companies I’ve rented wireless devices Japan Wireless is by far the best device with great plans for data usage and connectivity is outstanding.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your detailed review! We are deeply honored that you chose Japan Wireless for your second trip to Japan and that you continue to consider our device performance, connectivity, and data plans to be the best in the market.
At the same time, we sincerely apologize for the frustration caused by the missing return envelope in your package at Narita Airport, as well as the difficulty you faced when seeking assistance to return the device. We deeply regret that our support fell short during a crucial moment of your trip.
Please rest assured that we are taking your feedback seriously. We are auditing our packing protocols at airport pickup locations to ensure all return envelopes are included, while also streamlining our support channels so customers in urgent situations can receive quick, clear guidance.
We truly appreciate your loyalty, your candid advice for fellow travelers, and your constructive input to help us improve. We look forward to welcoming you back for your next trip to Japan and providing you with a seamless experience from start to finish!
Great service. I picked up my hotspot at Haneda Airport, I used it all day in Tokyo and never lost internet and still had plenty of power after use all day. Drop off was easy, just put it back in the provided envelope and drop off at a post office box.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful review! We are delighted to hear that you had a great experience with our service from start to finish.
Knowing that you enjoyed uninterrupted connectivity across Tokyo, long-lasting battery life throughout your full days of exploring, and a smooth airport pickup and mailbox return means the world to us. Delivering seamless, high-speed internet and hassle-free logistics is always our top priority.

Good connection. Device didn’t hold a charge well though. Backup battery didn’t last long either.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review! We are glad to hear that you experienced a good, reliable connection during your trip.
At the same time, we sincerely apologize for the disappointing battery life you experienced with both the primary device and the backup power bank. Providing dependable hardware alongside strong connectivity is always our top priority. Fantastic service. Easy Pick and a return. Battery live was much improved as well compared to the unit I had last year. Lasted pretty much all day so barely needed to use the battery pack that came with it. Very much recommend and will be using again.
Used it for my 10 day trip in Japan. Worked wonderfully. Does around 6 pm but they include a portable charger with it.
