I had no issue from pick up to drop off. We had wifi service most of the time. There were some places that the wifi was a little weak but no major issue to us to access the map. I would highly recommend renting from Japan wireless. I would definitely rent one again next time I go to Japan.

This is the first time I have seen this kind of service and, as my friend and I didn't get the opportunity to have an eSIM, this box saved us on more than one occasion! The pickup service is also very convenient and the box easy to use.
The reason why I did not give five stars is that there still needs to be someimprovements with the battery, which only lasts half a day. Sometimes, also, we had to reboot the device.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review! We are glad to hear that our pocket Wi-Fi came in handy for you and your friend, and that the pickup process was convenient.
At the same time, we sincerely apologize for the issues with the battery and the need to reboot. The unit you received clearly did not perform up to our usual standards, and we deeply regret any inconvenience this caused during your trip.
Thank you again for your honest feedback. We hope to welcome you back on your next visit to Japan and provide you with a much smoother experience!

This wifi Hotspot was great and super helpful when we were out and about in a country where without google translate we would have been at an even more serious disadvantage. Perfect product except for in the subway where it can stop working due to lack of signal coverage. Everywhere else it worked like a charm. Best thing is to use it to get your train travel plan and take screen shots for when the wifi is not available. Still 5-Star review, it did a great job for us.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review! We are delighted to hear that our Wi-Fi hotspot made your travels so much easier, especially when navigating and using Google Translate.
Providing strong, dependable connectivity everywhere you need it is always our top priority. We truly appreciate your understanding regarding the occasional signal drops underground in the subway, as well as your practical tip about taking screenshots for transit plans.
Thank you so much for the 5-star rating and kind support. We look forward to keeping you connected on your next trip to Japan!
A very good service!
