I've used this service several times. I have the device delivered to my in-laws house that doesn't have internet and it arrives promptly and works without me having to call support. Day before I leave, I take it to the post office and send it without any issues. In-law's family is in Hokkaido and the service was always very good. Also, I could switch the device between 5 and 2.4 Ghz as needed.

Great service battery lasted all day on my adventures, even lasted half a day after I forgot to charge the device. Good speed while browsing the internet. Only time I lost service was on some train rides which was expected. Will be using this service again when I go back to Japan!

Easy set up and reliable throughout my entire trip!

This pocket WiFi was very helpful. We had signal most of the time (some spotty connection in the rural areas) and it turned out that one of our phone’s eSIM (from a different company) ended up not working at all, so the pocket WiFi meant that phone had some connectivity. Its range was surprisingly good.

Great pocket wireless product, this is the 3rd. trip to Japan I have used it with no issues at all, will use it again on my next visit.

Our experience was great! Shipping to a post office for pick up and dropping it off at a post office for the return was very easy and hassle free. We did the three month plan and it worked extremely well throughout Japan. We traveled as far as Hokkaido down to Hiroshima and everywhere else in between without any kind of real service issues. The included battery backup was helpful when necessary. I would use their services again for sure.

Everything from ordering, picking up to returning were smooth with efficient operation. I’ll be flying to Haneda and subscribing from Japan-wireless in July this year

I liked the newer device this time than the last one I had rented over the summer. It’d be great if the price/rate could be cheaper.

Very good and easy to use

Pickup was extremely easy at the airport, all you have to do is show the confirmation number. Setup is equally easy. The kit includes a portable charger, wall adapter and cord, and return envelope. Wifi signal was always good and the device is compact. Return was also easy because of the included return envelope. Pocket wifi is definitely the way to go and I would do this again if I returned to Japan.
