I rented pocket WiFi because my phone is locked. I used it while I was in Japan for one week and it was easy to use and return. Came with extra battery. Reception was excellent .

We used JP the third time and as always we had now problems to get a fast and reliable connection to the internet. Streaming was much better, than Hotel WLAN. We travelled arround in Kansai and Tokyo areas.

Reasonable price and easy to activate. 10GB for 15 days was perfect for my 2 week trip. I stayed mostly around Tokyo and the coverage and speed was good.

This was a lifesaver! We tried getting the eSIM. However, since our phones are locked, we weren’t able to get the eSIM. Our friends told us about the pocket wifi through this company and ordering was so easy. They delivered it at our hotel. My husband and I used it everywhere we went. It helped us with getting from point A to point B. We had no issues with it and loved how our entire party was able to connect to it and use the wifi. It lasted all day and when we went back to our hotel to rest, we just charged it before heading out again. Upon leaving Japan, we just packed the pocket wifi in a self addressed envelope and dropped it off at any mailbox. They received it the very next day. Definitely will use them again!
