We have done this for several trips, and it gives us connectivity while in Japan while keeping the high charges from our domestic carrier at bay.

Used this on my 10-day vacation to Japan. It was cheaper than getting an international plan on my cell phone so I did wi-fi calling. Other people in our group said their cell signal wasn't reliable and wished they had did the pocket wi-fi. It was super easy to order ahead and have it delivered to my hotel. When the trip was over I just put it in the postbox at the airport with the pre-paid envelope that was provided. Signal was reliable, I never had an issue connecting.

Ottimo servizio. Ritirato in hotel al mio arrivo, ha funzionato perfettamente. Viene fornito con ulteriore batteria.

The service was great! I used about 10 GB in 17 days.
