I found that I needed a more robust router when I got to Japan, but that was my fault. Everything about using Japan Wireless was realy seamless and helpful. I had some issues with a router holding a charge and got a backup device quickly and easily. The service was realy fast and the instructions were clear.

I had no issues with internet in Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo. It connected automatically once I got to Japan. I do recommend this service.

To improve: battery dies before the day is over (for 10 hr day) and the battery pack doesn’t charge it to full.

Heavy data usage and connecting multiple devices can cause the router's battery to drain faster than expected. We are also sorry to hear that the included battery pack fell short and didn't fully recharge your unit—we will inspect our power bank performance to ensure they provide adequate backup power.
