Wifi worked out great for our family of four. The wifi kept up even with my two teens scrolling and posting the whole day. Thankfully the backup battery adapter was also provided and this worked out perfectly. Would definitely reuse Japan Wireless again on our next trip back.

This is the second time I've used Japan Wireless, and it worked well everywhere I went. I did have a bit of difficulty on initial setup and reached out to Japan Wireless customer service - they were very responsive and willing to help. It turned out that there was an Android update waiting in the background that was preventing activation of the esim. Once the update completed the esim installed, activated and worked flawlessly throughout my travels in Japan.

So at the last minute, I found out that my phone could not do an eSIM, so I had to find an alternative in this turned out to be a good alternative. If there was a time where maybe the reception wasn’t great. It allowed me to like switch and find like another network. The battery was pretty good and even with the backup battery it lasted like the whole day that I was out and it worked in different regions in areas, pretty ecstatic with the quality of service and picking it up was easy and returning it was simple as well.
