When I was in Japan for the first time, I found it very useful and convenient to be able to have limitless internet access whenever I needed. For some, it might be a bit difficult to navigate without internet in a foreign country. As it is very easy to use, I can only recommend it!

I ordered a pocket WiFi device for our vacation. It arrived at our hotel in advance and we received it at check-in. It's easy to use and came with a convenient, light-weight spare battery. The WiFi's battery would usually last around 9 hours on its own, then we'd plug it into the spare. Coverage was excellent throughout Tokyo. We found that there was a problem with the charger cable, so I emailed Japan Wireless and they sent a new cable to our hotel right away! Sending everything back was also easy - just pack it up in the prepaid envelope and drop it in the mail at the airport. Would definitely go with Japan Wireless again!

Worked everywhere and perfectly on our two phones and two ipads during our two week plus trip using trains, ferries, subways, buses and sneakers. Pickup at the hotel and drop off at another hotel worked very efficiently.

The mobile Wifi service was excellent. Pickup and return very easy.

Service was great and worked throughout the country. The battery pack was a lifesaver. Highly recommended!

Title pretty much speaks for itself, acquiring it was super easy, the internet was very fast, and the battery held up pretty well. Only thing is the menu options were in Japanese but despite that and I’m sure you can change it, I still managed following the instructions and connecting

Japan Wireless was the best and fastest wifi solution. It was also one of the cheaper solutions. I used it to connect the mobile phones and it was fine. During a trip to Japan last year, the portable wifi carrier I used was horrible. I am going to use and recommend Japan Wireless from now on. The instructions were clear on where to pick up and drop off. It was easy to use. Again it was fast enough to accommodate 3 mobile phone users. It also pretty much worked everywhere we were in Japan.

My wife and I visited Tokyo for 10 days, and worried that we might get separated and need to text one another to find how to meet. We each got a wireless device and stayed connected via internet our whole time. Pickup of the devices at the Narita airport post office was easy, as was the drop off there upon our departure. Definitely will do this again when we come to Tokyo in the future.
