The wifi router worked for myself and my 2 boys. Coverage all over Tokyo. Battery lasted most of the day and was a less expensive option than using my phone plan.

The hotspot work perfectly! It was easy to pickup and return without any issues or concerns. This was easier and cheaper than purchasing an eSIM for each family member. Pocket WiFi from Japan Wireless was awesome. Easy to use, easy to pick up at the airport. When we initially got it the service was slow, there were instructions on how to troubleshoot this and we just rebooted the WiFi. There weren’t any problems after we rebooted it! This was our 5th renting from Japan wireless. Will definitely rent again!

It worked great almost everywhere we went. The connection was a little iffy in Mikawa and I had to switch to the JR WiFi on a couple of trains but overall I recommend it.

We pickedup at Haneada Terminal 3 and used it for 16 days with no issues. we connected up to 6 devices the whole time. the wifi speed was always efficient. worked thru cities, mountains, and tunnels. wifi calling kept phone connected to the USA while in Japan via calls and texts. battery lasted with easy plug in charging and included battery backup. easy drop off in japan post mailbox at terminal 3 departure when leaving Japan. 100% recommend Japan Wireless mobile wifi.
