It's very convenient to use and I really love that pocket Wi-Fi, user friendly,

We picked the fully charged wireless up from Haneda airport and connected our devices. It worked brilliantly for the whole 12 days. Easily returned in the envelope provided.

Honestly you can have internet for even in long distance! Plus you can add 5 devices! I extremely recommend 🙏🏾

Flawless connections and this is my second time using it

We had some concerns about coverage in more remote areas when accessing maps, but it never turned out to be an issue. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the service. The only other point was that, at first, we couldn’t tether to our iPads using the settings provided in the instructions. We contacted the company, and they responded quickly. It turned out there was a second network option (that I could find in any of the material we received), and once we used that, everything worked perfectly. Thank you.

Have used the service multiple times and find it super easy and convenient. Just pick the pocket wifi from your arriving airport and drop it off in mail drop before your flight home. Will continue to use Japan Wireless. They are excellent!!

We have been using Japan Wireless since our first trip to the country in 2023 and overall we are very impressed.

1. Strong & Continuous Signal

The coverage was excellent across cities like Tokyo, Osaka, Kobe, Amanohashidate.


It supported multiple devices at once (phones, tablets, laptops) with no noticeable slowdown during my usage.

2. Excellent Response Time & Customer Support

Queries (before, during, and after my trip) were handled very promptly. Emails got clear replies, and when I had a small technical question, they resolved it quickly.

3. Easy Delivery & Return

The ordering process was simple: select device plan, rental duration, specify delivery or pickup location. Japan Wireless offers airport pickup (e.g. Narita, Haneda), delivery to hotels, or shipping ahead of arrival.

Return was also very easy: prepaid envelope or drop-box/post-box or airport counter in many cases. I didn’t have to go out of my way.

4. Value for Money under Long-Term Plan

We've been using the long-term service plan since October of 2024. Japan Wireless offers monthly plan options (e.g. for 3, 6, or 12+ months) at progressively lower effective daily cost. If you’re staying for longer, these are very competitive.


The unlimited data option (truly no speed caps except in very extreme usage or very remote areas) means you don’t have to worry about running out or monitoring usage constantly. That adds peace of mind, which in my view adds to the value.

5. Easy Ordering

The website is clear; ordering is straightforward. Shipment/shipping or pick up details are well explained. The device arrives in good condition with all necessary cables and accessories.

I appreciated that they include things like a power bank in many rentals, which meant fewer worries about battery life.

Verdict

If you're staying in Japan for more than a short trip (say more than a week), Japan Wireless is very likely one of the best options out there. For value, ease, and reliability, it delivers strongly. For shorter trips or lighter users it may be over-kill depending on your data needs, but even then the ease of use is a big plus.

I would highly recommend Japan Wireless for travelers who want reliable, continuous internet, good customer support, and easy pick-up and return.
