I had some trouble to log in as wifi access is required to connect and I did not have this. Once this was sorted the coverage & function was seamless throughout my travels to some quite remote areas of Kyushu.

Great coverage in Hokkaido and Tokyo. I had one small technical issue: the charging cable was defective. Japan Wireless shipped a replacement cable in one day to my hotel. Could not be more satisfied with the service and the price was very reasonable.

I had my pocket wi-fi delivered to my hotel on the first day of our stay and then dropped it off in a post office box on the last day. No stress of looking for a desk or anything! And the device worked perfectly even outdoors (we went hiking up the Alps :), signal was strong and constant. I would definitely avail of your services on our next trip!

I have used Japan Wireless before and will use them again as the process for ordering is simple, the wifi dongle delivered to my hotel ready for my arrival and the network reception good wherever I travelled in Japan. Also easy process for return with prompt confirmation from Japan Wireless. Highly recommended!

Stayed connected for the entirety of my stay with no connection issues. I’ve used them three times.

Picked up & returned at Haneda Airport (easy), set up pocket wifi (easy) and wifi worked just great.
Due to hard to carry on power bank in the flight, it was great Japan Wireless also included power bank to use during we stayed.

This portable WiFi was an absolute life saver during our two weeks touring Japan. From Honshu, Hokkaido to Okinawa we had continuous coverage. It even worked in the subways/underground. It was also so easy to collect upon arrival and return on departure. We will definitely rent one again on our next visit.

Purchased an eSIM card before seeing in Sapporo. Activated the card once we arrived and it worked perfectly during our 5 day stay. Great reception even in the Tokyo train stations. Loading the card and activating it was easy.
