Great service and reliable

Perfect for a one week trip of two persons

Easy to activate the eSim. Connectivity is very stable.

I had a great experience with Japan wireless. When I went to Japan last year, I used the different service. Definitely, I will go with
Japan Wireless again. Good speed, unlimited data, highly recommended

We used Japan Wireless Portable Wi-Fi service when we were in Japan for 3 weeks in January 2025. We were happy with the service, the device worked as advertised. Japan Wireless rental process was easy, simple and seamless from ordering to returning the device.

I travel to Japan every year and I always order my pocket wifi from Japan Wireless. It's very convenient.

Efficient and convenient to drop off at airport or any post box

This pocketwifi was very useful during our trip to Osaka especially since you can order it ahead of time and pick up at the airport (although note the closing time of your pickup zone) or have it shipped to your hotel location. I was kinda surprised it was 4G when I saw the other businesses with pocketwifi in the airport had 5G. I did like that it was guaranteed to be there for me at the airport and they provide a mailing envelope for when you're done. I used it mainly for GPS and Internet surfing but also used it a couple of times streaming with no issue. The pocketwifi struggled at Mt Wakakusa and whenever there were too many people/tourists around but it wasn't too bad to wander a bit to get a stable signal. Also the wifi did tend to stop connecting once the battery charge was around 10-20% but they do provide a small portable battery and charger with the rental. Overall I do like the value for what I paid and wouldn't hesitate to use again. Hopefully by then it's 5G.
