Very clear, organized instructions and service. Excellent all around!

Excellent service and a good value. Very easy to use. I would highly recommend this service because I had internet service no matter where i was located in Japan - even in remote areas.

In some places no good connection but overall my party of six was happy to stay connected.

We used Japan Wireless pocket Wifi for almost three weeks, with multiple devices connected between three people. Pick-up was relatively easy at Haneda airport. I did not realize on booking that there is no drop-off store or kiosk at Haneda. The device has to be returned via post, and they provide the postage-paid envelope. It was a simple process and they give you lots of reminders to do it before the security gates at Haneda, but I would have preferred not to have to carry an envelope around for the duration of our trip and I also like to have a receipt of return before I leave. Still, I received an email acknowledging return within a day!
I found the device itself simple to setup and use, and it was reliable in the locations we traveled (Tokyo, Kyoto, Kanazawa). I appreciated the power bank provided--I rarely needed it for the portable wifi, but it also worked for my phone. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Japan, especially if you have multiple devices!

Finding Japan wireless very reliable from the Mountains in Hakone to various location over Shikoku. No throttling , pretty consistent speed!

Claiming the wifi was so easy, just had to look for the JAL counter and show them your claim/reference number. Wifi was really 4g/5g unlimited, no data cap. There were two of u using the wifi, and we were able to use the data for around 11 to 12 hours daily until the pocket wifi ran out of battery. They did provide a powerbank and a charger for the wifi also.
The return was the best. Just had to find a post box near our hotel. Luckily there was one inside the lawson across the street from our hotel. And if you forget to do so, there’s also one at the airport.
Will definitely avail the service again!

This was our 2nd time using Japan Wireless. The two of us both need wifi when we travel, and we need wifi for our laptops for occasional work. Using the pocket wifi provides wifi to all three devices for one manageable cost. JUST MAKE SURE TO KEEP IT CHARGED!

Second time visiting Japan and second time renting From JapanWireless.
Pickup and return are super simple and straightforward.
Equipment quality was good. Performance and battery were decent. Longer days were a bit more of a challenge esp, as the backup battery pack seemed to not always hold a full charge either, or possibly was the port that wasn’t fully functioning.

Overall highly recommended!
