Worked really well although we had a day where it wouldn’t connect to the network for a while but it eventually came back

My trip was for 8 days around Tokyo, Kyoto, and Hakone and never once did I have any trouble with this device. Going to definitely use this company again for my next trip.

Great fast and easy to use

My wife and I used this while we were exploring Tokyo for the first time. Very easy to use, comes with an extra charger which was helpful! Helped us navigate our way through the different parts of the city! Definitely going to use this EVERY time we visit

We often walked used the device from 8am until 9 or 10pm without running out of battery. Days when we needed to use GPS on our phones constantly, we sometimes had to use the included back-up battery by the end of the day, and it was great that they provided this.
Coverage was very adequate. We only lost connection temporarily when we were deep in the valley of some mountains with no antennas anywhere, but even then we were not completely without internet.

This was our second time using Japan Wireless and their products in the past 5 years. Never had an issue or interruption in service as we utilized the pocket Wi-Fi for Google Maps & Translate. The complimentary power bank ensured that we were never long without Wi-Fi if we let the power run out. The pick-up and return process was a breeze as well. Japan Wireless will always be our go-to for future trips!
