This little gadget is a must whenever you travel. Traveling with my family all of us were connected. My sons were able to stream their music and keep uo with their friends in social media. My wife was able to share her photos and uodates and i was able to use my gps. We were never not connected. Only negative is that the battery lasts only a few hours.so make sure yiu have an additional external battery with you. I would definitely recommend japan wireless to anyone. The next time i return to japsn(hopefully very soon) will rent a mobile hotspot again...it is a must!!
Only criticism would be the power bank may have been old and ran out of charge quite quickly. Always have extra if out and about all day.

Starting from pick up of the device to return and in between quality of wifi was excellent. As a customer I’ve travelled a lot across the globe and have encountered lots of tricky situations with wifi. Japan wireless service is one of the best
I reserved mine online about 4 days prior to my trip to Japan. I received the confirmation email and they provided the information I needed. I had it delivered to Haneda airport for pickup. Found the place, waited in line and it was a very smooth process. If you didn’t reserve it ahead they had you fill out the form.

Everything from delivery to use worked well for me
Easy to order sent to our hotel in Tokyo was there when we checked in. Worked well and easy to return right in the mailbox in Tokyo. Would recommend came in very handy and in my opinion the cost was reasonable.
It was so easy to organise to have the pocket wifi delivered to our hotel. It was there upon checkin. Having the pocket wifi made travelling around Tokyo and Kyoto possible being able to access maps, restaurant information, bookings and whatsapp! I wouldn't dream of going to Japan without having access to wifi and this made it available at my fingertips. Coverage was never an issue.
