I traveled around central Japan for three weeks in 2020 and the pocket Wifi worked perfectly. Moreover, it was easy to pick up and drop off at the airport (Haneda). The price was reasonable and the connection was great. I had no interruptions during the three week stay, whether in my hotel, on the bullet train, or in more rural areas. I would definitely recommend JW's Wifi.
