The device worked extremely well for the places I took it. The only reason I haven't given five stars is because the charging cable they provided seemed to not work (Which was simple enough to get around since I had my own).

We traveled to many areas in Japan over the course of 15 days. Having the portable wifi was very convenient and easy to use. We had it delivered to the hotel so it was there upon our arrival. Setting it up consisted of finding the wifi name on your phone and typing in the password and connect. Easy set-up from the get-go. The only thing negative was that the hotspot was not fully charged upon receipt. We opened the package, connected our phones and went out to dinner. The charge did not last one hour! We thought the battery was weak but fully charged it that night. The next day it lasted for the entire day. A portable battery pack is also included. The price is right too-be sure to search for coupons and deals. We will not hesitate to rent another for our next trip to Asia.
