Fantastic service and communication
We had an amazing experience using the Japan Wireless pocket WiFi during our trip to Japan. From start to finish, everything was incredibly smooth and convenient. We picked up the device right at the airport upon arrival — no hassle at all. The staff was friendly, and the entire process took just a few minutes.
The WiFi kit came with everything we needed: the hotspot device, a charger, and even a portable battery pack (super useful for long sightseeing days). The connection was fast, reliable, and worked everywhere we went — from the bustling streets of Tokyo to more remote areas like temples and mountain spots. We were able to use Google Maps, post photos, and stay in touch without worrying about connectivity.
Returning the device was just as easy. They provided a prepaid envelope, and all we had to do was drop it in the mailbox at the airport before departure. Zero stress.
This service made our trip so much more enjoyable and worry-free. Highly recommend Japan Wireless to anyone traveling to Japan — it’s 100% worth it!

Easy to use and highly recommended when traveling to Japan with a group of 3 or more people.
The Portable WiFi from Japan Wireless worked really well during my 4 days in Tokyo. I shared this Portable WiFi over 2 iPhones and 1 iPad with no problem. It is really good for light data consumption e.g messaging and GPS maps and light searches (I did not use it for heavy data tasks like movie watching…)
One comment: the data comes in 4G so for some intense data consuming tasks tend to be a little sluggish. I wish it could be 5G…
