We loved having the pocket WiFi while we were in Japan, we were in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, the WiFi service is very reliable and fast. The unit is small even with the power bank that comes with it.
The pick up and drop off instructions were very easy to follow.
Except, I failed to dropped off the unit before security at the airport.
JapanWireless were very helpful with instructions how to return the unit to Japan from US. I ended up sending it back via FedEx providing them with the tracking number, they were very responsive with all my email, and notifications regarding receiving the unit back. I couldn’t be more happy with the service they provided.

The price was reasonable. The instruction how to use was clear. They also provide spare battery in the event the battery for the router went low. The router works excellent in most of the area except one remote rural area in Shikoku. Good

The mobile wifi we picked up from Japan Wireless was a great deal - we were able to connect all four of our family's cell phones so that we didn't have to pay international roaming charges. We had good coverage as we traveled. The only issue that we had was that our package was (we thought) missing the necessary charging cord for the device. We had to go and buy one on our own, but customer service over e-mail was excellent and they reimbursed us for the cord within a day. When we finally packaged up the device for return at the end of our stay, we found the "missing" cord stuck in the corner of the original envelope. I felt terrible, but they were very gracious!

Everything went great, SIM card worked without a problem. Always had connection, even in suburban areas. Support was great and quick to respond.
