With coverage throughout the country. The battery did not run out on any day despite using maps continuously.

Our trip covered both Tokyo and Kyoto. We picked up the pocket wifi at Narita airport, simple pick up process. The pocket wifi was used by 4 phones and it works flawlessly. One thing challenging is the power bank came with it last for probably half a day for us, we will need to use our own power bank to compensate for the second half of the day typically. The return process at the airport post box is simple too.

This worked very well everywhere we traveled. Did not use a SIM card because we also had computers that needed wi-fi too. Speeds were very good. I carried the battery pack and never had an issue running out of power. I would definitely use the pocket wi-fi again.

This company is very detailed and organized. Easy to rent online, airport pick up and drop off when you leave Japan. We had probably a few times where connection wasn't so great but nothing that caused a big fuss during our trip. Would definitely use this service again!

PS. We never had to use the back up battery, once fully charged the device can last a full day.
