Worked great in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, and FujiKawaguchiko region. I was able to browse internet at fast speeds whenever and wherever. I never experience any slow down and I attended a packed con and a crowded Tokyo Disney Sea. It did need an occasional top of of power but the provided battery pack was more than enough to top of the phone and WiFi device. I would recommend the device to anybody traveling around Japan. Drop off and pick up was easy. Just remember to drop off at post box located just before security.

It was waiting for me at the hotel as I ordered.
Easy to install, compact, not heavy and it worked for 21 days without any problems. Much better and safer than free wifi in hotels.

I’ve used Japan Wireless the last three years in a row on my trips to Fukuoka. Easy pick up when I arrive and I drop it in the post box on my way to the airport! Very satisfied.
